Congratulations to Aidan Neubert for his confirmation and to Cindy Gainer and Bill Matrisch for their reception into The Episcopal Church during Bishop McConnell's visit to The Church of the Advent on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Community Service of Lessons and Carols

Please join us at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017, as we serve as the host for the Jeannette Ministerial Alliance's Community Service of Lessons and Carols.  Everyone is welcome to this joyful service to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Bible Study

Fr. Vicente Santiago conducts Bible Study beginning at 11:00 a.m. each Thursday morning.

Sunday School

Sunday School resumed at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 and each Sunday thereafter.  All children ages four and older are welcome.

Pastoral Visits to Westmoreland Hospital

Westmoreland Hospital has notified the parish, that for security and personal privacy reasons, the hospital staff will not longer contact the parish when a parishioner has been hospitalized.  Requests for pastoral visits to patients at Westmoreland Hospital should be directed to Fr. Vicente at (724) 216-4717.

Starting Time

As adopted at the May 15, 2016 Annual Meeting, the stating times for Sunday worship services are:

9:00 a.m. in the summer (Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend through the Sunday of the Labor Day Weekend)

9:30 a.m. in the winter (Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before the Memorial Day Weekend. 

Accordingly, services between now and May 20, 2018 will begin at 9:30 a.m.
